Amelia Earhart

Amelia is a Suri rescue born in 2014. She is super sweet, and her reddish brown fleece is beautiful. Her previous herd was attacked and killed by dogs. Did you know that domestic dogs are one of the greatest predators of alpacas here in America? Of course, coyotes are a big problem if you are out in the wilderness. But here, surrounded by other farms, dogs are more of a problem. We have to be very careful even with our own! Amelia is the guard of our female herd. She is by far the tallest and keeps watch over everyone. But don’t let the fact that she is a guard fool you. She is incredibly sweet.
